My unique journey as a career mother at BRD; A story I enjoy telling! Who hires a nine-month pregnant woman? Yes, BRD hired a very heavy woman! I dared to apply for a job at BRD, took a chance to go for the interview with less expectation of positive results. Fast-forward I was hired and offered a three-month maternity leave and all other benefits just like an existing staff. Amazing right? I am thrilled by the environment at BRD. I express my gratitude to BRD management for gender inclusion practices in place that contribute to the social welfare of families. KUDOS!

When I began working with BRD as an investment officer, I had to step outside of my comfort zone to learn, unlearn, and relearn. It can be difficult to keep things organized all the time when you're a working mom who prioritizes your family and your profession. BRD stands out as a top employer, though, since they have provided me with the room and outstanding support, I need to progress to a leadership position. They have also given me the opportunity to travel with my child and participate in the strategic planning of this expanding institution.

My journey in BRD started as a young professional intern in IT tasked with digitalizing BRD archives back in 2013. I was promoted to an analyst in Recovery in 2016 and then to Enterprise Solution Support from 2020 to date. Yes, this happened over the period of 9 years! I have grown extensively over this period, and I was encouraged by how BRD recognizes talent and rewards proven potential. I was motivated to grow and I believe by being here, I am accomplishing my goal of making life easy using code and having collaborative environments.
