Division of Strategy

The Strategy and Development Division provides strategic planning perspective and direction to BRD, ensuring that the banks operations are aligned with its strategic plan. The division is also responsible for maintaining institutional relations with local and international development agencies—including DFIs, Donors, and multilateral agencies. These partnerships are critical for the fund mobilization function of the division, which is another important role it plays within BRD. The strategy and Development Division will also ensure that BRD conducts rigorous and quality research that can the development effectiveness and accountability of BRD’s interventions to stakeholders.

It is comprised of five units – Monitoring and Evaluation, Marketing and Communication, Economic Research, Program Design and Incubation, and Fund Mobilization.
